It was organised on the VW T4 forums by Jonny, who is the east Devon regional coordinator. Anybody was welcome, with T4 or T5 Volkswagen vans, that wanted to come along and have a chat with like minded people.
It took place at the Ness car park in the south Devon resort of Shaldon. The weather turned out great, and around 20 to 30 T4 and T5 vans came along to join in the fun throughout the day. It was great to see what other people had done to their vans, and draw inspiration for how to modify mine.
Speaking to the van owners, one thing was clear, how friendly and helpful the VW community is. There is another meet planned for a months time in Exmouth, and I will be heading along to that one too.
