Having announced the other day that I had bought a new project – a Talbot Express Highwayman camper van, I thought I better take you through the interior of the van and show you some of the features on board.
In this video I cover the kitchen area, the shower room and toilet, the living area, storage and the on board electrical system. The whole interior is pretty clean and tidy, but I have already started to add some on my own touches to the van.
I have started to stickerbomb the middle panels of the doors to the overhead lockers, which has added a good splash of colour to the inside of the van. I have also removed the “pink” carpet that was in the main living area. That has now been fitted with wood effect vinyl, which has made a tremendous difference.
I have also installed a USB charging port, just like in the VW van, so I can keep my phone and GoPro camera charged off of the leisure battery
So over the coming weeks, I will keep you up to date with any future changes as I customise the van into something a little less “beige” ;)
