Took the van up to Dartmoor recently, and headed over to Combeshead Tor and Cuckoo Rock near Burrator reservoir. Met up with a group of friends for some bouldering and climbing.
I always enjoy spending time on Dartmoor, and this day was no exception. It was a bloody awesome day, and so many quality climbs in a relatively small space, and the views were awesome too. Plenty of new routes ticked off the list!
The group were camping out overnight in the ruins of the Deancombe Farm settlement, but unfortunately I couldn’t stay overnight due to commitments the next day – it would have been the perfect time to put the camper van to the test.
Anyway, here’s a collection of photos from the day. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice the van is back at standard height and running steel wheels. I will explain more in a forthcoming blog post. For the meantime, enjoy the photos!
